La Villa Latina est une superbe propriété nichée dans un quartier tranquille au sein du parc naturel de Sintra, à quelques minutes en voiture de la ville historique de Sintra. Wonderful villa for a family vacation

The villa was perfect for our needs, 2 families with adult children. Plenty of space and spacious bedrooms, 3 with en-suite bathrooms. Large kitchen, with all that is necessary for catering to the 10 of us. The outside area is fantastic- a beautiful, well-maintained pool surrounded by a mature garden making the property very private. The outside terrace has a large wooden dining table where we ate breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner if we ate at the house.
The pictures do not do the house justice, it is a very nice, traditional home and the outside lawn, pool and terrace really make it fabulous.
We were able to walk just a few minutes to the farmers’ market in Praia das Maçãs which is a must! Open every day except Monday. The beach and village are just another few hundred yards from the market. Several excellent restaurants as well as a few beach bars. It was notable that most of the people around are Portuguese as well as other European tourists.
You can also walk over the headland to Praia Grande, about a 25 minute, pleasant walk. (just a 5 minute drive). The location is excellent!
Paulo deserves a special mention - he was there to meet us when we arrived to show us around the property and answer any questions. He continued to be very responsive with restaurant recommendations as well as any other questions we had!

I gave 4 stars rather than 5 only because the bathrooms could use a little update. Not a big deal or anything that would make us not want to stay again!!

We should've requested fans. We had to keep windows open at night, it was warm in July, mosquitos were an issue overnight. Also this place could've had some dish soap or dishwasher pods when we arrived, and even one toilet paper roll would've been nice after a long flight. The house had very little decoration, could've made it more appealing and inviting. Clean the patio and lawn chairs before people arrive. It seemed as if no one had ever been there before us.

Pool and facilities excellent, only negatives, coffee machine wasnt working, and we couldnt get washing machine going but we would definitely recommend for a large family group, and Paulo the local rep was there on time with all the local info and easy to contact via Whatsapp

“Large Villa”
We spent one week as 14 in this very spacious villa and had plenty of space for everyone … Huge rooms, large bathrooms, big kitchen, large playroom…. It’s also nice to be at walking distance from the beach, restaurants and market….. Very good service for the agency…. The pool was very warm as well… The only thing I would add is the equipment of the kitchen which is surprisingly under-equipped…. the toaster is a tiny one that suits better for 2 to 4 people and not for 14…. there was no electrical mixer….A lot of cupboards were empty…. But enough cutlery, plates and glasses for 14….. Its also a nice spot to discover the Sintra’s Castles ….

“Fab Family Holiday Villa”
What a lovely Villa! Beautifully presented, with plenty of space to suit all age ranges (2 year old to Granny-me!), and it became our luxury “home” for a week. It was mostly thoughtfully equipped for our needs (but some small, sharp kitchen knives would have been useful for food prep). The Villa is in a quiet area, but in a good location to explore nearby lovely beaches, and Sintra on the old tram. Local shops and restaurants are in walking distance. Allure’s directions from Lisboa Airport weren’t too helpful (?) – Google maps were better. Lovely welcome from an agent (?Elena) on arrival. Thank you.

“Very happy guests!”
June 2019 We were a mixture of families and young couples, and every member of the group loved the villa. It is very, very spacious, meaning it is easily possible for some people to stay up late playing music / eating outside whilst other relax or sleep in a quiet corner of the house. It was perfectly clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Walking distance from good shops and a great fish market!

“Large well equipped villa”
This is a lovely villa. It is large and well equipped and has plenty of storage. Three generations all enjoyed the facilities of the villa and the convenience of reaching Lisbon, Sintra and Cascais.. We were a little disappointed that the sauna appeared to be permanently broken. However, the manager quickly attended to any other queries. It would be nice to have rails or hooks in the bathrooms to hang towels on.

“Fab villa” 10 of us went to the villa for 5 days. We loved it the villa is a good size. Well equipped with a lovely pool and outside area. The location is good within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and Bars.

Rigtig fint sted med en lækker stueetage, super pool og meget funktionelt køkken. Men absolut en godkendt villa med mange kvaliteter 🙂

Kælderen var påtænkt til overnatning for 5 personer. Dertil er den ikke egnet så de sov i stuen. Tennis er der ikke i nærheden som lovet på hjemmesiden.

“Big family holiday”
Wasn’t sure what to expect due to lack of reviews, but when we got there we were so pleased. 9 adults and 5 children and a baby suited perfect to villa. Very clean and well finished. Pool and outside area was lovely. Sun loungers provided. Kitchen a nice size to fit us all. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone. Lovely long drive with an enclosed wall and electric doors, completely private. Only downside would be area – perfect for a chill holiday Like we wanted, but no local bars or pubs as it seemed, at least not by walking. But we enjoyed ourselves in the villa, there is a game room/ bar in basement and tv with DVD player.
